A Creative space to build confidence, connection, and communication through tabletop role-playing games.

What Is a D&D Support Group?

This is a therapeutic group that uses collaborative storytelling and roleplay to support growth in communication, emotional regulation, and social confidence.

We build imaginary worlds, but the work is real.

Whether you’re new to role-playing games or already love them, this group offers a space to experiment, reflect, and grow in ways that carry over into real life.

How It Works

D&D and other TTRPGs naturally support key therapeutic goals:

  • Group Cohesion: Shared stories promote trust, collaboration, and meaningful connection

  • Narrative Transference: Playing a character allows clients to explore identity, emotion, and choice in a safe way

  • Skill Building: Each session gives structured practice in communication, frustration tolerance, emotional flexibility, and planning

  • Motivation & Joy: Play is reinforcing, clients stay engaged and look forward to coming back

Skills We Practice

Self-Regulation Skills

  • Managing frustration, disappointment, and uncertainty

  • Staying present and flexible under pressure

  • Sharing attention and navigating turn-taking

  • Reframing challenges and building resilience

Social Skills
